Distribution Companies
Our chosen distribution companies for our film are Vertigo Films and Pathe. Both of these support and release independent films, including British Social Realism, which we decided to use as our genre for our trailer Vertigo Films is a British film production and distribution company based in London. The company was responsible for the release of 'London to Brighton' in 2006. This is a film that we will strongly base our own trailer and film on therefore this company would be a great idea realistically as they are known to have distribute films of the same nature and with the same harsh themes as we plan on including. Pathe is a major film production and distribution company and is the name of various French businesses that were previously run by the Pathe brothers in France in 1896, making it the second oldest operating film company in the world.
