Within our AS film opening, we did not knowingly add any political or cultural messages as we only focused on the main story line of the protagonist, therefore not focusing on a wider perspective and interpretation of the audience of a bigger social message or implication. However, we did conform to certain stereotypes of teenagers with the addiction of drugs, smoking and alcohol and the effect this has on their lives. This is a social message as we planned to continue the story line following the teenage protagonist and the effects that this life style had on her and her future. If I were to re-create the film opening, I would interpret more social and political implications onto the life of the teenager. For example, we could have had her being affected into doing drugs, smoking and drinking from seeing the news. For my summer work, I created a music video to the song 'All I See - TCTS Remix' by Bondax. For this dance track, I filmed shots of a beach in Cornwall and the sea to be compared with the slow start to the song. As the beat comes in, I decided to choose clips from Reading Festival to reflect the fast pace as the dance track is played. This reflected well as people jumping to the beat fitted the idea that I was going for and contrasted well with slow shots of the beach and waves. I chose to film with both a camera and a phone, but still used a handheld technique when filming as it made the music video look a lot more personal and also created the sense that the viewer was filming it, similar to a point of view shot.

What I intend to do when continuing to A2 Costume and Props - During A2, along with my coursework group, I intend to pay more attention to detail when considering both costume and props for our trailer. To do this I will do more research into genre and the types of props that may be seen in the genre I intend to incorporate. Also, to achieve a more professional outcome of the final project, I will make sure that any props are made properly and well, whilst trial and error-ing different ways in order to find the most efficient and best looking one to use in the final trailer. This can also allow more props to be used and make the genre more obvious. Sound and Lighting - In order to improve the sound and lighting used within year 12, I will ensure that I research a lot more into more detail depending on the genre that my coursework group decide on.
